My first Kajabi account dates back to 2012, on the original Founders plan. Since then I've built courses, a membership community and a long list of sales pages on it. Along the way Kajabi gave me its Millionaire Hero Award, its Community Superstar Award and its Foster Belonging Award.

That history is why people ask me for an honest view of the platform. This review covers what Kajabi is, what it includes in 2026, what it costs and who it suits best. It's also the home of my feature-by-feature guides, so you can go deeper on anything that matters to your business.

The short answer

Kajabi is an all-in-one platform for experts who sell what they know. It brings your courses, coaching, community, website, emails and payments into one account. Plans start at $179 a month, or $143 a month billed yearly, and Kajabi takes no share of your sales. If you want one simple system to run an online business, it's the platform I recommend and still use every day.

Every Kajabi feature, explained simply

Kajabi groups its features into four areas, and each one gets its own guide from me. Every guide covers what the feature does, how to set it up, which plan you need and how to keep it simple. New guides go live each week, so start with whatever matters most to your business right now.

What is Kajabi?

Kajabi is a platform that lets coaches, experts, creators and authors build, market, sell and deliver their work from one place. Kajabi reports that experts on the platform have earned more than $12 billion, across more than 100,000 businesses and 75 million customers.1

The simplest way to picture it is as the operating system for a knowledge business. Your products, your marketing and your payments all live in the same account, and they already talk to each other.

Starting a new product in my Kajabi partner account. Courses, podcasts, communities, coaching, newsletters and downloads all start from the same screen.

That one screen sums up why Kajabi works so well for experts. Whatever you want to sell, you build it in the same place, and it plugs straight into the same website, checkout and email list.

How much does Kajabi cost in 2026?

Kajabi has three plans to choose from. Each one includes courses, coaching, memberships, a community, a website, unlimited emails and built-in checkout. You can compare every detail on the Kajabi pricing page.2

Why have I stayed on Kajabi since 2012?

People often ask why I've stayed so loyal to Kajabi for so long. The features matter, of course. The real reason is the values behind the company, and how closely they match my own.

Kajabi builds for everyone on the platform. The whole company is focused on helping everyday experts grow a real business around what they know, and on giving every one of them a fair chance to succeed.

That might be a home baker who turns her recipes into a $1 million business. It might be a guitar tutor who adds six or seven figures online to the lessons he already teaches in person. Those are the people Kajabi is built for, and they're the people I love working with too.

My three Kajabi awards, including the Millionaire Hero Award. Each one came from building a simple business on the platform.

The way Kajabi releases new features matters to me as well. It ships what customers need, when they need it, guided by real data on how people use the platform. That keeps the product focused on what actually grows a business, and it keeps your account clear of clutter you'll never use.

“Kajabi's values dovetail with mine. They help people simplify their business, and simplifying is what I teach every single day.”

Ant Hodges, Kajabi user since 2012

Simplicity is the thread that runs through all of it. Every tool you add to a business brings another login, another bill and another thing that can break. My name for that cost is the Complexity Tax, and it's one of the ideas at the heart of my book, Simplify the Funnel®.

Definition

The Complexity Tax

The Complexity Tax is a term coined by Ant Hodges, author of Simplify the Funnel®. It describes the hidden cost that every extra tool, step and moving part adds to a business, paid in time, money and focus.

Kajabi keeps that tax low because one account does the jobs that usually need five or six separate tools. When a client buys, their access, their welcome email and their place in the community all happen in the same system. When something needs fixing, there's one place to look.

The platform keeps pace with how we work now, too. Cofounder and the Kajabi MCP connection are included on every plan.2 These days the MCP connection with Claude helps me build pages and update my sites, which is the AI-in-the-back-office approach I teach.

Who is Kajabi best for?

Kajabi fits best when you sell your expertise and want the whole business in one place. It also suits experienced business owners who'd rather spend their time with clients than managing software.

A great fit if you

  • Coach, consult, teach, speak or write books
  • Want your products, website and emails in one place
  • Plan to add a course, community or membership

Another route may suit you if you

  • Mainly sell physical products from a shop
  • Need SCORM-compliant corporate training4

For physical products, a dedicated online shop is the better fit. Kajabi's course builder doesn't support SCORM, so formal corporate training that has to plug into another learning system is the other case where I'd point you elsewhere.4
